On January 31, students and teachers from central universities from various states in the country, marched in protest of the Centre's continuous and step-by-step attempt to squeeze caste-based reservation out of the University space. The main demands of the students and teachers were, the scrapping of the 13-point Roster system, taking back the 10% reservation bill, and a general stop to the growing attacks on the rights of dalits, the OBC and SC/ST communities.
