Contempt of Court, Justice Karnan, and Prashant Bhushan Case
The Supreme Court convicted senior advocate Prashant Bhushan on August 14 in a contempt of court case. He was given time to issue an apology failing which a sentence is to be pronounced on August 24. Bhushan has refused to apologise. This development has drawn a lot of criticism for the apex court, while many are revisiting the case of Justice Karnan as well.
