Chanda Kochhar, ICICI Bank CEO, has been asked to be on leave till probe is over in the alleged conflict of interest over loans made to Videocon Group,vwhose chairman Venugopal Dhoot had business links with her husband Deepak Kocchar. A new whistleblower complaint compelled independent directors to go for an independent probe. The fresh probe will examine all the details since Kochhar’s appointment in May 2009.
