Newsclick team traveled to Madhya Pradesh to talk to farmers about the current crisis facing them. Due to years of government inaction and negligence, the farmers are today suffering. They are not able to earn any profit in the Mandis and neither are they earning the MSP. Facing losses at the Mandis, the farmers are selling their produce on the roads in the state capital.
With a new government in place in MP, the farmers are looking for some relief. If this government too fails, the farmers know they have the power to bring about political transformation.
