On August 9, 2024, a group called Indians for Palestine protested near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi. It was a symbolic protest by around 10 people including economist John Dreze, Vijayan MJ, Annie Raja, Nadeem etc. The police detained everyone before this peaceful protest could reach the Israeli Embassy.
