The former NDA Minister has openly attacked the current regime and PM Modi’s “anti-farmer” policies.
Sompal Shastri, who was the Minister of State in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, openly attacked the current NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of farmers, terming their policies as 'anti-farmer' and saying that the interest of farmers is not a priority of the government. He said this at the Kisan Mazdoor National Conference for 'MSP Legal Guarantee Law' of Kisan Andolan 2.0 at the Constitution Club in Delhi last week.
