India's two covid vaccine makers were supposed to be able to produce 13 crore doses every month by May. That is about 42 lakh doses per day. But India is vaccinating at an average rate of just 16 lakh per day. Even if one takes the old production level of 8.5 crore doses a month, we are vaccinating at less than 60% of our daily vaccine ouput. Where have the vaccines disappeared?
