On December 29, former Haryana Sports Minister and BJP MP Sandeep Singh was accused of serious sexual harassment by an international female player. Sandeep Singh had resigned from the post of Sports Minister but no legal action has been taken so far. Women from Haryana protested at Delhi's Jantar Mantar demanding the arrest of Sandeep Singh.
